CEO EMEA - Geometry

Claus Adams is the Chief Executive Officer of Geometry Europe, Middle East and Africa. He brings over 20 years of experience building, transforming and growing blue chip agencies and brands, while inspiring teams to achieve a shared vision. He has worked in Western and Eastern Europe and the Middle East, championing creativity and advocating solutions at the intersection of strategy, content and technology.


Claus was with Cheil for four years. From 2013 to 2015, he was Chief Operating Officer/SVP Central Eastern Europe (CEE) – based in Vienna – where his remit was to restructure and grow the CEE network. In 2015 he became Senior Vice President, Cheil DACH in Germany where he led the “Digital Transformation/Innovation“ office and business development.


From 2002 to 2013, Claus worked at OgilvyAction, now merged with Geometry. For the first six years he was Managing Director, appointed to launch OgilvyPromotions in Germany. From 2008 to 2013, he worked with Memac Ogilvy & Mather (Dubai) as Regional Director charged with setting up the unit in the Middle East and North Africa.

The first nine years of his career saw Claus fast-track at McCann-Erickson, BBDO and boutique agency N.E.N.O.
Claus is based in Düsseldorf, Germany where he lives with his wife and two sons.

In June 2014, Karen received an OBE in the Queen's Birthday honours and in November 2018 Karen won the Inspirational Leader category at the Ethnicity Awards.

Karen was appointed Race Equality Business Champion by the UK Prime Minister in 2018 and she sits as a Non Exec for the UK Cabinet office.

Daniel Bonner is the Global Chief Creative Officer, Brand Experience at Wunderman Thompson - responsible for bringing ambitious clients a competitive advantage through innovative experiences inspired by creativity, data and technology. Daniel focuses the agency on raising the standard of the work, inspiring new possibilities, and harnesses the breadth of the company’s capabilities to set new benchmarks for the industry.

Daniel has a proven track record of collaboration—establishing and growing teams from which award-winning work has flourished, including the most coveted medals from Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, LIAA, ADC and One Show. Recognised as one of the most prolific Creative Directors of the modern era, Daniel has led teams to more than 20 Agency of the Year titles and one Agency of the Decade award. He was invited to be a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts as well as named No.1 Digital Creative Director in the UK by Campaign and “Influencer of the Year” by Creativepool.

Daniel has brought new energy and initiatives to the agency, including FIRE, a philosophy for understanding how to produce great work. He also launched the Courage initiative, which challenged the agency to solve real problems, make tough choices, and remove doubt with data. This led to groundbreaking socially responsible work, including #WeCounterHate, a campaign that turned hate speech into donations for anti-racist groups and Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive – the world’s first inclusive fashion collection for people with disabilities.

Prior to Wunderman Thompson, Daniel Bonner took the helm as Wunderman’s Global Chief Creative Officer just under two years ago. He brought with him a resume that included guiding Razorfish to a 300% increase in excellence and innovation awards. He had also served 14 years as the Chief Creative Officer of AKQA.

Daniel has served as a Cannes Lions jury member three times, and in 2019 he was the Cannes Lions Jury President for Ecommerce Jury and Experience Track Ambassador 2019. He is also one of less than 40 creative leaders worldwide selected by Google for its Assembly program to raise the influence of creative thinking in the world today.

Laurent Ezekiel is the new Chief Marketing and Growth Officer for WPP. Laurent has transformed agencies through winning global new business and driving client growth, making him one of the industry’s most recognised and influential leaders.

Before joining WPP, Laurent held the twin role of President of Digitas, North America & International plus Groupe Client Leader for GSK as well as having extensive experience on Publicis Groupe business development. He was involved in major pitches including Samsung & Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He was also the lead on the successful global media pitch for GSK. During his 16 years at Digitas, Laurent helped build the business into a global marketing and technology agency. Laurent started his career at Saatchi & Saatchi and went on to work at Grey London before its acquisition by WPP.

Michael Frohlich took up the position of Chief Executive, Ogilvy UK in February 2018. Under his leadership, he continues to drive the agency forward towards a more integrated model to maintain a leading position in an ever-changing marketing landscape.


Since joining Ogilvy in 2012, Michael led the successful transformation and immense growth of Ogilvy PR in the UK and then across EMEA. In 2017, Michael was integral to winning the British Airways and International Airlines Group business, designing and leading the bespoke WPP integrated team solution. Michael's WPP role saw him again broaden his remit across the integrated marketing landscape and lead a cross-agency team of advertising, media, production, social and other creative services.


Michael’s earlier career saw him join Lowe Bell and then Shine Communications. He was appointed as Managing Director and helped build a highly successful consumer hot shop. In 2003, he founded Resonate, a UK top 10, award-winning consumer consultancy which became the Consumer Division of Bell Pottinger in 2007. He worked across Chime Plc. companies (including VCCP and Good Relations) until joining Ogilvy.

Beth Ann is the Global Chief Executive Officer of Geometry – WPP’s end-to-end Commerce agency, located in 90 offices and 56 countries around the world. Beth Ann is recognized as a leader with a proven record of reimagining retail, as well as creating and designing commercial programs that drive growth. In her two plus decades in the industry, Beth Ann has touched every aspect of marketing communications across consumer-packaged goods, retail, finance, restaurant and technology companies and brings both client and agency side perspectives to her work. She is a strong advocate of insights-inspired marketing programs and was a pioneer in strategic-planning research methodologies. She continues to drive innovation in this space.

A worldwide traveller born in Baltimore (though she considers herself more of a Bostonian at heart—especially when it comes to sports loyalties!) Beth Ann graduated with a BA from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School and an MBA from Boston University in Organizational Behavior. Beth Ann was a founding member of a successful startup purchased by Omnicom, and led TracyLocke as the first female CEO in its one-hundred-year history, as well as the first Global Chief Marketing Officer of Westfield Corp. She most recently served as the CEO for Kantar Consulting Americas.

Beth Ann is an AdAge Woman to Watch, a member of WPP’s X-Factor, and serves on the national boards of the Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications as well as the non-profit charity Back on My Feet.

While she sees work as personally fun and a bit of an endurance sport, she also is an avid runner, loves cities and making them better, and spending time with her husband, family, and close friends.

Alexander (Alex for short) is Vice President of Data Science for Wunderman Thompson New York. He focuses on the intersection of CX and Data Science for key New York clients, such as Volkswagen, Walmart, and ConEdison, as well as supporting larger regional and global initiatives.

Alex’s philosophy is to use data and analytics as a catalyst for marketing transformation. He has a passion for uncovering insights that provide clear understanding of customer attitudes and behavior, and then using those insights to create personalized experiences that weave together CX, technology, and design. Some of his key responsibilities include leveraging machine learning to facilitate messaging personalization for the People First Engine, using NLP and cloud API’s to create customer experiences through emerging platforms like Chatbots and Voice, and developing ROI scenarios and business case projections for test-and-learn investments in new CX methodologies.

Alex has broad and deep experience across the disciplines of strategy and analytics, having previously worked in primary research, brand strategy, social, mobile and web analytics, and business transformation. He has an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business in Marketing Analytics.

Di is a creative thinker with proven success in finding new solutions and revenue streams for traditional companies. She has over 20 years of technology and data experience across media, FMCG, finance and retail consulting for companies such as Hearst UK, dunnhumby & Walgreens Boots Alliance. She joined WPP in 2014 as MD of Acceleration, part of Wunderman Thompson, and left in 2017 to become a Data Strategy Consultant. As a freelancer, she continued to work with WPP through consulting for Wavemaker, VML, Geometry, Wunderman Thompson and MediaCom. Di was recognized in the Data IQ Top 100 data leaders list in 2020.

Mark was appointed CEO of WPP in September 2018. His previous role was Global CEO of Wunderman, where he transformed the network into one of the world’s leading creative, data and technology agencies.

As WPP’s Head of Strategy and then CEO of WPP Digital, Mark was responsible for the company’s move into technology through the acquisition of 24/7 Real Media, the creation of data-driven creative network POSSIBLE and the launch of Stream, WPP’s celebrated “unconference”.

Earlier in his career, Mark co-founded and developed internet start-up WebRewards, and specialised in the media and marketing industries as a principal at consultancy Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Mark was named a Financial Times & HERoes Champion of Women in Business (2018) and is a member of the Male Champions of Change Global Tech Group, which is committed to accelerating gender equality in the industry.

Global Creative Chairman, McCann Worldgroup As Global Creative Chairman for McCann Worldgroup, Rob is responsible for creative oversight of the McCann brand globally as well as developing multiplatform approaches by leveraging McCann Worldgroup’s broad capabilities and communications resources to help clients meet their creative challenges with precision and impact. Rob joined McCann Worldgroup from Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he served as Partner/Worldwide Chief Creative Officer. Rob joined CP+B in 2002, after spending a decade at a number of New York ad agencies. He began his CP+B career as a copywriter, creating some of the most talked-about campaigns in history. In his role as Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, he drove the creative vision for all of CP+B’s clients around the globe, including category-leading brands such as Microsoft, American Express, Burger King, Windows, Domino’s Pizza, MetLife, Best Buy, Paddy Power, Grey Poupon, Charles Schwab, KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese, JELL-O and Xbox. Sara Roberston is Global VP, Product and Engineering at Xaxis. Sara is responsible for the development and success of Copilot, Xaxis' proprietary artificial intelligence engine. Copilot has employed machine learning techniques to optimize 50,000+ digital advertising campaigns across 47 countries, driving double-digit performance improvements for Xaxis clients. Sara oversees a team of 40+ engineers, data scientists, and product managers around the globe and applies her skills and team toward helping Xaxis continue to innovate in the digital advertising space.

A self-taught engineer, she’s an Ivy League dropout, a member of Mensa, and a mother to two little girls who already know how to code.

As the leader of the Copilot team, Sara is responsible for multi-million-dollar technology investments that manage and execute media spend across GroupM and WPP. Sara led the Copilot team from ideation through execution and launch in just under two years, an impressive timeline for a patent-pending machine learning engine.

Sara has recruited a team of incredibly talented scientists, engineers, and visionaries, by focusing on candidates that exemplify a culture of intelligence, accountability, and passion. Everyone that works on Copilot is passionate about technology. We love tech like most people love dogs. And some of us also love dogs.

Prior to Xaxis, Sara managed the platform behind 1000's of artist fan clubs, websites, and merchandise shops at Warner Bros Records, giving her the opportunity to party with rock stars like Metallica, Michael Bublé, and My Chemical Romance. She’s also won a bronze medal in genetic engineering for using kombucha to grow clothing, she started the biggest emo kid website on the Internet (Melodramatic.com, now retired,) and she moonlights as a semi-professional blackjack player.
Sara’s broad-reaching professional experience has given her a unique perspective on product development and engineering: she’s able to bridge the gap and explain highly technical concepts in a way that is clear and entertaining for non-technical listeners.

Global Chief Growth Officer - VMLY&R

JJ is the global chief growth officer at VMLY&R, where he oversees business development activities and corporate go-to-market strategy. Based in New York, JJ is responsible for driving all stages of the agency’s new business initiatives and works closely with global leadership to drive growth for the agency and its clients.

Before VMLY&R was established in 2018, JJ served as global chief marketing officer at Y&R New York. Prior to that, he led the brand partnerships team at Interlude, an interactive video company and WPP investment. His clients included smartwater, Kimberly-Clark and MTV, among others.

JJ began his career at Wunderman in 2007 and quickly climbed the ranks in account management, focusing on Wunderman’s technology business where he oversaw key accounts like Dell and Microsoft. In 2011, he joined the Y&R network as chief of staff. In 2012, JJ became managing director of global integration at VML, driving and implementing the agency’s expansion strategy across the globe. He played a key role in driving VML’s growth during this time, opening 13 global offices in two years.

In addition to his role at VMLY&R, today he also serves as the chair for the young entertainment, media and communications committee, at the UJA Federation of New York.
A New York native, JJ is a graduate of Brandeis University and a jazz saxophonist by training. He lives in the Bronx with his wife and son.

Henry has 17 years experience in the digital advertising and search marketing arena and over 8 years working in programmatic media. He is currently Managing Director of Global Accounts for Xaxis where he leads a team delivering programmatic strategy for some of the world’s largest advertisers.

His career began at MediaVest in and then Mindshare where he ran the IBM and Nike digital accounts. In 2005 set up Circus Street, a consultancy & training business working for for the likes of Nestle, ITV, Guardian, and Sky.

He returned to the Mindshare in 2009 as Head of Digital at before moving to Groupm to lead client development for Xaxis UK in 2011. After two years of rapid growth he decided to take on the challenge to do the same for Xaxis in Asia where the business was successfully rolled out across 14 markets and saw 10x growth in 5 years.

Training and education remains a passion. Henry has delivered the digital marketing course for MsC students at the the reputed CASS Business School in London and also developed the Xaxis programmatic 101 training program in APAC.

Michelle joined geometry in May 2017. Her role is to build out expertise and capability within the agency to drive growth for geometry’s clients.
By connecting them more closely with their consumers, in all of the new retail channels where commerce moments are available.

Her passion is to empower and build successful teams, creating a modern working environment and attracting new and diverse talent to geometry.

Michelle’s experience covers many categories but career highlights include the Vancouver winter Olympic games and the Coca Cola football work cup. Even if she did not get to go!

Outside of work Michelle coaches & mentors a number of people and as a WACL member sits on the Future Leaders Award committee.
She is an active sports enthusiast, enjoys an odd G&T and loves nothing more than a good walk in the countryside and a visit to Kew Gardens.
