| История | LEGO can be used to build anything that can be imagined. We proved this by first describing the Painting "The Blue Horse" by Franz Marc to blind children and then letting them build it with LEGO bricks - despite nevert having seen the artwork. Blind and visually handicapped children were given an understanding of art for the first time. They transformed two-dimensional art into their own three-dimensional expression using LEGO, and these were given a public forum via facebook. In a second step, we invited blind and sighted children to workshops. Allowing the children to exchange experiences and opinions kindled a great appreciation of "The Blue Horse" within them and got them excited for art in general. Sighted children gained a new perspective on art and on the lives of blind people. All thanks to LEGO. |
