Sergio Mugnaini, former DPZ&T and renowned advertising professional, joins SunsetDDB Brazil -part of DDB Latina- to accelerate the creative transformation of the agency established in early 2019.
Being Creativity DDB’s core, Sergio will play an important role in the agency's transformation by applying his wide experience and work style focused on innovation, creativity, and technology. Sergio is not new to DDB’s culture as he is a former DM9DDB.
“I have admired Sergio for many years. His great ability to combine creativity and innovation will be essential in the fast-paced and relentless transformation process that we are experiencing in the agency, in the market and in the world. I want Sergio to be very happy along this intense, transforming and fun journey that I embarked on a few months ago,” says Pipo Calazans, the President and Chief Executive Officer of SunsetDDB.
Taking the Chief Creative Officer position in an agency part of the DDB network is an important step in Mugnaini's career. "SunsetDDB is in fact experiencing a moment of reinvention, of breaking paradigms, with a work model that deviates from market standards. I believe that it completely matches the way I usually work, where a great idea evolves as we add innovation to it. Importantly, innovation is not only related to creative projects. Innovation is related to how a company works. The market needs to work in a more agile and collaborative way. The word innovation must be extrapolated to all areas of the agency,” he shares.
Juan Carlos Ortiz, President of DDB Latina assures: "Creativity is our core business and we understand that in order to have the best creative product, we need the best talent. Sergio comes to the team to master the product of one of the most important markets for DDB Latina and we are confident that he will take the office to the next level."
