Buttering up customers with music

Do you like to do a little dance when you cook? Sing into the wooden spoon maybe? To promote its dairy products as indispensable to certain recipes, Kerrygold and its agency Energy BBDO started from the insight that three out of four cooks love to listen to music in the kitchen. So, with the help of Spotify, they created a playlist of tunes that matched a selection of recipes. Imagine whisking to disco or stirring to something sloooow. Top chefs helped them put the playlist together, and the operation was launched with a video featuring musicians playing to the Kerrygold cows in a field. We’ve been to muddier outdoor gigs.
