Joanne Davis Consulting (NYC) and Bob Wolf Partners/TPG (LA) seek to consolidate national coverage, share benchmarking data and collaborate on ANA/other initiatives.
Los Angeles and New York – Two firms best known for conducting agency reviews and helping advertisers with their client-agency relationships are joining forces to strengthen their national presence and work collaboratively on several special initiatives.
Dan Pearlman, CEO and founder of Bob Wolf Partners/TPG, indicated, “While we provide services throughout the U.S. (Bacardi, ADT, NY Times and Lending Tree are a few of its representative clients), some might prefer if we had a presence in New York (rather than Los Angeles). This is one reason we have formed a joint-venture partnership with Joanne Davis Consulting (based in New York City), who works with Macy’s, Exxon Mobil, Pfizer and others. Another reason includes our shared philosophy of the importance of the client-agency relationship and the need for a win-win compensation package for the agency.”

Although Bob Wolf Partners/TPG, founded in 1996, is best known for its agency review and selection process (e.g. advertising, digital, direct, public relations, etc.) for clients such as Toyota, Jenny Craig, TD Ameritrade and Subway; its proudest work has been for the improving the existing relationship between marketer and agency as evidenced by being selected by the ANA (Association of National Advertisers) to conduct workshops with its Fortune 1000 member clients on how to optimize such relationships. The firm also assists with performance audits and compensation structure and negotiation…both key components to a healthy client-agency relationship.
