Match Marketing Group's Boulder Growth Leads to Expansion in Portland

Match Marketing Group, a consumer engagement agency focused on creative experiences and precision analytics, is expanding into the Pacific Northwest. The success of its Boulder office, including the growing adidas experiential business, drove the decision to open an upper West Coast flagship office in Portland. Match’s roster of clients includes adidas, BRP, Diageo, Ford, Lincoln, Progressive, Hasbro and Nespresso, among others

For Match’s Boulder team, 2019 is all about building momentum, enhancing brand alignment, strengthening client relations and strategically growing the business, both in quality of projects and revenue.  A “long hallway” approach from Boulder to Portland has been designed to realign our team roles to more effectively serve adidas and put the right feet on the ground next door to the adidas village to maintain competitiveness and drive new business goals.

“Our particular approach to experiential and content marketing relies on us working in very close partnership with our clients,” said Christian Gani, Managing Director of Match’s Boulder office. “Driving their business success is easier when you’re down the street.”

Creative Director Nicholas Ross will be on the ground in Portland, alongside a team of seasoned marketers. With a background in architecture and creative studios, Nick has created for some of the most notable brands in the world such as adidas, Apple, Jordan, Versace, Google, Red Bull, Target, Audi, Hermes, The Hundreds and more.

“Portland is place where you go to test the waters of the innovative, the uncharted, and impossible,” said Ross. “It’s also where talent has collected, raising a competitive bar and evolving the creative mindset across the industry.”

To inaugurate its official office opening, Match will be opening its doors during Design Week Portland, April 10th from 5-9pm.  The open house event will feature a Pacific Northwest live art battle, with long time Match partner-Secret Walls. Secret Walls will bring their “Fight Club” style of the art and entertainment to the new Match office, accompanied by live music and libations. More on Secret Walls: https://secretwalls.black
