The growth of Nylon’s cross-pacific offerings, will continue to allow the studio to provide its clients with virtual around-the-clock creative services as well as a global roster of talent.

Nylon Global Executive Producer, Hamish Macdonald, originally hails from Melbourne and felt it was essential to hire artists that was native to the local market, expanding their network of talent to include the thriving Melbourne industry space. He notes, “With the addition of our Melbourne facility, we still aim for our studios to remain boutique and personal, whilst adding to a powerhouse network of collaborative talent. We have a lineup of incredibly skilled and dedicated individuals that can facilitate any workload and the strengths of the new Melbourne team will help to add a fresh energy to our network as a whole.”

The custom-designed space was crafted to facilitate and nurture the talent that was carefully assembled to launch the new studio. To support Paul Le Couteur’s expertise in working with actors to get dynamic performances, a spacious 200 sq. ft. booth was created for his use, whilst not forgoing comfortable client areas. Further extensions are underway to build a customized composition suite to support the work of full time in-house composer Lydia Davies as well as visiting composers from other markets to increase the Melbourne scope to three post suites and one composition suite.
