Ne-o

Directing duo Jake Knight and Ryoko Tanaka first came together as Ne-o back in 2001. The pair quickly attracted public attention for their short film, Salaryman 6, which was screened as part of the ondotzero6 festival lineup. The piece went on to collect awards from the Rushes Soho Shorts competition and scooped the TCM Classic Shorts prize in the London Film Festival.

Since joining Stink in 2002 Ne-o have gone on to carve a niche for themselves with their consistently refreshing and inventive aesthetic. Their reel includes the iconic Singin’ In The Rain for VW Golf, a modern take on the classic Gene Kelly dance routine. The spot continues to garner recognition more than five years after its release having cemented a place popular culture with its blend of game-changing VFX and an instantly addictive b-boy musical remix courtesy of Mint Royale. For their efforts Ne-o were awarded silverware at the Clios, Eurobest, BTAA and inducted into the APA 50 collection.

Other standout projects have seen Ne-o experimenting with guinea pigs for financial services brand Egg and demonstrating the Humanity at the heart of Toyota’s range of vehicles to create a charming and truly memorable car ad unlike any other. The spot was awarded top honors in Cannes, Clio and AICP ceremonies and featured among shots magazine’s best ads of the past 20 years. 

Wilkins & Maguire

London based directing duo Wilkins & Maguire came together while working on the BAFTA nominated documentary ‘Gypsy Blood’, which tells the stories of bareknuckle fighters within the traveller community and the tradition handed down from father to son. Maguire followed up with TV sensation ‘Dogging Tales’, an intimate documentary about the very British world of strangers who have sex in public.

As directing duo they have quickly gained a name in commercials for crafting strong emotional narratives drawn from real people and stories. Their work has an intimate, relatable quality that is unrivalled, with powerful cinematic visuals.

In the last year they’ve written and directed a series of films for Guinness in Africa, uplifting stories around the subject of football, shot by ’Moonlight’ DOP James Laxton. They’ve also brought the magical ‘Reindeer Princess’ Anne Risten to the screens for Esso. 

AGUSTIN ALBERDI

Agustin Alberdi is one of Argentina’s foremost commercial directors. Highly versatile in his approach, Agustin’s work is varied – be it comedy or dramatic story telling his films always have a distinctive and unique feel.

Some of his most notable work includes a three-film project for Stella Artois in which he helped to build on the brands iconic and lasting style of 60’s Riviera chic.

Agustin has continued to push and progress with his style and techniques, lending them to hugely successful projects for Diesel, Wrangler & his latest campaign for VH1; which bravely approaches the subject of Bullying in a humorous yet thought provoking way.

Based in NY Greg's work resonates with his passion for authentic character performance and his ability to handle humour; he constantly strives to show a truth in his subjects and their surroundings.

A former member of the ‘Legs’ collective Greg is very much of the moment, he is a passionate, eclectic director who is equally at home in live action, documentary, music promo’s or digital content.

He has helmed commercials for clients including Nike, Sony and The New York Times, the latter entitled was a series of intimate celebrity interviews "Screen Tests" which earned him three Emmy nominations and a Webby Award.

Greg's recent films bring an effortless charm and freshness to his reel, in particular his installation for RedStripe and his promo for rapper Danny Brown 

Tom Green

Creative, versatile and tenacious Producer / Director working across a range of genres including ob‐doc, fact‐ent and constructed reality series. Specialise in finding and gaining access to extraordinary characters from all walks of life. Welsh BAFTA nominated (2013), Broadcast Magazine “Hot Shot” (2014) and winner of Channel 4 First Cut Pitch at Sheffield Doc Fest (2017) 

Ivan Zacharias

Ivan’s reel includes some of the most outstanding and iconic commercials in advertising with Honda ‘Impossible Dream’, Stella Artois ‘Pilot’ through to his films for the Karlovy Vary Film Festival which have included actors such as John Malkovich, Harvey Keitel and Jude Law.

It has earned him over 100 awards, including the Fellowship Award for outstanding contribution to the production of commercials from the British Arrows Awards in 2011.

Ivan’s human, cinematic styled storytelling has recently been showcased in the short film ‘The White Russian’ starring Jeff Bridges, created for Kahlua.
