Ian Bonhôte

Ian Bonhôte

Ian Bonhôte is an award winning Film Director and Producer. His career has earned him credits spanning commercials, music video and Fashion Films, as well as co-founding the Production Company Pulse Films.

As a Director, Ian has created international campaigns for Gatorade, Puma, Nike, Pepsi, as well as promos for Mumford & Sons, Morcheeba, Jamie Cullum, Tom Jones amongst many others.

Lately, Ian has been directing Fashion Films for Designers such as Matthew Williamson and Hussein Chalayan and a film featuring Lily Cole on her ideas of Perfection. Ian’s film “Thou Shall Not Kill” was selected in the 2014 Special Selection at the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival (LJIFF).

Ian recently completed his first feature film “ALLEYCATS" distributed worldwide, by Universal Studios and by Filmode in the US/ CANADA.

Ian has also started work on his next film project: a feature length documentary on the life of Alexander McQueen. 

Virgil Ferragut

Virgil Ferragut

Born in Paris and bred in Madrid, Virgil left the land of blazing sun to forge his way through the world of filmmaking and hasn’t looked back since. After he cut his teeth in post-production at Trazos, Virgil honed his skills in design and filmmaking at Central Saint Martins in London, graduating with a First Class BA in Graphic Design and Film.

Virgil has worked on many ground-breaking and high-profile campaigns for clients such as IKEA, Orange, Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Sony, Once, Beefeater and Endesa amongst others.

He has been lucky enough to receive a D&AD Yellow Pencil Nomination, screenings at the BFI London with BUG Music Videos, Two Golden CdeC Awards for his Ikea Commercial and most recently a nomination from the 2017 Bokeh South African Film festival for his last fashion film “Homme Fatal”.

He splits his time between London and Madrid. 

Shelly Love

Shelly Love

Shelly Love is an award winning artist and director. She worked as a contemporary dancer and choreographer for a number of years before she turned her hand to filmmaking.

Her interdisciplinary background and experimental approach have resulted in the creation of her unique voice as a filmmaker. Traversing the lines between movement and fiction her films are uniquely choreographic and poetic in nature. Her films have been described as “fantastical and surreal yet utterly human..”

To date she has choreographed, written and directed numerous short films which have screened extensively at festivals worldwide and have been commissioned by and broadcast on Channel 4 on numerous occasions.

Jon began his career in advertising as a motion designer and art director, which is where he got his first taste of directing. It’s this background as a creative which continues to inform his work as a director - bringing big ideas, elaborate executions and striking imagery to commercials and content for an impressive list of clients such as Sony, Nokia, Baileys, Magnum, Samsung, Absolut, Tourism Ireland and Black & Decker.

Since completing his Masters in Communication Design at Central St-Martins in London, Belgian-born Chris has used stop-frame animation as a vehicle to bring his wonderful creativity and vision to life through high-end commercials and music videos.

Recognised for his bold, creative and playful style, Chris continues to experiment with his multi-disciplinary skills in order to find fresh, exciting and occasionally weird projects 

Alexander Haines

Alexander Haines

Alexander doesn’t do traditional. He came to directing via the varied worlds of trawler man, market salesmen, brick mover, timber expert, tour manager, celeb assistant and video editor.

Partnering a director’s eye for detail with an editor’s appetite for storytelling, he is always searching to unearth the emotional truth of any story, whilst challenging the senses of the audience. 

Stephan Hilpert

Stephan Hilpert

Stephan went to film school in Munich (the HFF), where he studied documentary film directing and commercial directing. He also studied in Madrid and wrote a PhD thesis on film at the University of Cambridge. Besides directing commercials, Stephan has made several long documentaries. He is based in Berlin and speaks German, English, Spanish and French.

Matt Huntley

Matt Huntley

Having originally studied graphic design and photography, Matt got his break in the film industry working in the art department before becoming an assistant director and production manager on a raft of commercials, music promos and features. This apprenticeship has given him a well-rounded knowledge of the business.

After shooting a number of test spots, he made the jump into directing after being commissioned to write and direct ‘Trimming The Fat’, a short for BBC Films. The next five years saw him shooting films for clients such as Barclays, Vodafone, The Sun, Budweiser, Samsung and Fiat, collaborating with many agencies at home and abroad including BBH, Ogilvy NY, Krow, MullenLowe, Grey, WCRS, Special Group Sydney, Leo Burnett, The Viral Factory and AMV BBDO.

Matt has worked across many disciplines, from shooting indigenous tribes in the jungles of Tanzania to playing video games with elephants in Thailand; he loves the challenge of riding into the unknown.

An incredibly collaborative director, he loves nothing more than writing for and directing comedic actors; over a number of shorts and commercials he has proven to have a great eye for casting and drawing out fantastic performances and digging in to find the best way of telling a story.

Matt has been described as being “more than capable” and “surprisingly charming”... 

Claire Norowzian

Claire Norowzian

Claire comes from a family of film makers and won her first BAFTA in 2007 at the tender age of 27, followed by another in 2010 for a series of children's bedtime stories. Since then she has won dozens of awards including Promax's and a Kinsale Shark.

Her fun, inventive approach conjures up a visual style that’s both charming, creative and quirky - skills which have proven to work well with children, octogenarian’s and everyone in between!
