Marie Kristiansen

Marie was born in 1982 in Oslo, Norway and is curently based between Oslo and LA. She graduated with a BA (hons) in Fine Arts from Central St Martins in 2007.

Since then she has worked as a director, photographer and conseptual artist. With several art exhibitions behind her Maries aesthetics and sometimes playful take on female sexuality was discovered by the commercial world.

Her many fashion films and commercials have been screened on websites such as; SHOWstudio, Dazed Digital, i-D online, Purple TV, STYLE.COM, Wallpaper and AnOther magazine. They have been showcased at both London and Paris Fashion week and in exhibitions in Hong Kong and Spain's Balenciaga museum. Amongst her clients are Lucy In Disguise, La Senza , Phoebe English and ELLE. She has done numerous fashion editorials for magazines such as ELLE, STILETTO and Twenty 6 magazine.

In 2010 she directed and photographed her first feature film in LA, ‘EXTERIORS’. It was nominated for best debut feature at the Raindance film Festival in London.
