DAVID has expanded its incredible creative roster at the agency’s newly opened New York office with the appointments of Linus Oura, Creative Director and Guilherme Pinheiro, Associate Creative Director. They will report directly to Luiza Prata Carvalho, Managing Director, and André Toledo, Chief Creative Officer, effective immediately.
Originally from Brazil, Linus joins DAVID after two amazing year at GUT São Paulo, where as a Creative Director, he was responsible for creating and leading local, regional, and global campaigns for brands like Mercado Livre, Nestlé, Dove. Last year he helped the agency win its first Grand Prix at Cannes Lions for Mercado Livre and this year he repeated winning 7 lions.
Prior to joining DAVID New York, Guilherme Pinheiro was part of the inaugural DAVID Madrid team, creating for brands like Burger King, Activision, Twitter and Mondelēz International. He helped set the creative standard of the new office that would be named as Ad Age’s A-List 2022 International Agency of the Year only 2 years after its launch. Before DAVID, Guilherme worked as a copywriter at AKQA São Paulo and Grey Brazil, where he developed projects for brands like Nike, Deezer, Netflix, Google, AB InBev, among others. His work has been recognized in the industry’s top shows, including 2 Grand Prix in Cannes Lions for Nike and ReclameAquí, two years in a row.
Linus and Guilherme will work across all accounts, including TD Bank (US), Coca-Cola and AB InBev.
