Brooklyn-based design and furniture retailer West Elm has named Droga5 as its first-ever creative agency. The move comes with the hopes of raising brand awareness ahead of the retailer's expansion across the US.
Droga5 was awarded the account without a formal pitch, and will roll out the first campaign for West Elm this fall, with a focus on social media. Previously, all marketing for the retailer had been done in-house, but the move to a creative agency should help the brand grow into what its SVP/creative Director, Vanessa Holden, hopes will be a "billion-dollar brand."
