But in this new spot for Visit Norway, Bleed and Bacon- director Christian Holm-Glad has chosen to go a different route.“We very quickly agreed that we should throw all the classic ‘come to Norway’- clichés like the beautiful midnight sun and eating salmon,” Christian Holm-Glad says of the film.Instead, the actor Thorbjørn Harr, known from HBO’s Vikings, was enlisted to star and tell about what’s great about the rough, grey and raw aspects of Norway (i.e. surfing, hiking, horseback riding, partying).The visual was shot on 16 mm film and combines Harr’s monologue with a rough and poetic visual side. |
