Brief | An injured man wakes in a hospital bed, his faithful dog by his side. The story then spools back in time. We see the dog arriving with the man in the ambulance, and standing beside the wrecked car after the crash. But when the film arrives at the beginning of the story, there is a heart-rending twist: the dog actually caused the crash by running out in front of the car, only a few moments after his owner tried to abandon him in the woods. Unlike people, a dog is loyal forever. Do not abandon. |

История | The idea of the film was to create a tension between how humans behave with animals and how animals behave with humans. It puts forward the opposition between the infitite fidelity and dedication of a dog towards his master, and animal abandonment, a gesture of cowardice and cruelty. Starting from there, the creative idea was to tell a story backwards. A story of an animal never giving up on his master, helping him and rescuing him from a car accident... The end of the film reveals the beginning of the story, and this is the moment when everything becomes clear. |
