Her dad realizes this, and decides to do something incredibly touching. When the girl returns home from another terrible day in school, she realizes that her dad is up on a ladder and painting the entire house black. By painting the house black, the dad is telling his daughter that he loves her for who she is, and he doesn’t care what anyone else thinks.
