Alexander Peitersen

Publicis Communications has named Alexander Peitersen as CEO of the Nordics region. Peitersen has been with Publicis Groupe since 2001 and was previously the CEO and co-founder of the Publicis Worldwide agency, Reputation (Denmark & Finland). He has headed past agency transformations in Russia, Denmark and Finland for Publicis Worldwide.

Peitersen, together with Cathrine Toubal who will join as the Chief Talent Officer in the Nordics in
February, and Nordics CFO Astri Garshol, will form the regional leadership team for Publicis
Communications in the Nordics. As one of the four solutions hubs of Publicis Groupe [Euronext
Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40], Publicis Communications unites the Groupe’s creative offering.
Publicis Communications in the Nordics includes agencies Kitchen in Norway, Reputation in
Denmark and Finland, Saatchi & Saatchi in Sweden and Denmark, MSLGROUP in Sweden,
Norway, Denmark and Finland and Prodigious in Sweden and Denmark. The management of these agencies will report into Alexander as will the regional leadership team.

Alexander Peitersen is co-founder and partner of REPUTATION, part of Publicis Groupe, the world’s 3rd largest advertising network. Out of Copenhagen, REPUTATION is the creative lead agency for Leo Burnett and Publicis in Denmark. REPUTATION is the hothouse for integrative marketing strategies with a strong focus on reputation management and the development of power brands through story-telling. Was heading the restructure of Publicis Groupe Denmark together with Patrick Tepfers, resulting in the merger of Publicisi Denmark and Leo Burnett Denmark into REPUTATION. The restructure involved a complex realignment of talents, brands and clients to fit the new structure. In parallel, Prodigious was launched on the former X2M agency network in the Nordics.

Alexander became partner and Client Services Director at the Danish agency Bergsoe 2, and over a period of 3 years turned it into Scandinavia's most international award winning healthcare agency.
